City Council of Nairobi
The City Council of Nairobi (CCN) was set up in 1952 and its function is to deliver services to the residents of Nairobi and maintain the City status of Nairobi.
CCN is mandated with the task of providing and managing basic social and physical infrastructure services to the residents of Nairobi. These services include basic education, housing, health, water and sewerage, refuse and garbage collection, planning and development control, urban public transport and fire services among others.

Athletics Kenya
Athletics Kenya (AK) is the official body that governs athletics sports in Kenya and is a member of the International Athletics Association Federation (IAAF) and Confederation of African Athletics (CAA). The organization is mandated to organize athletics association in the country and to send athletes to international competitions.
The organization was founded in 1952 by Sir Derek Erskine and was originally known as Kenya Amateur Athletics Association (KAAA). It later changed its name to Athletics Kenya in 2002. The organization first international meeting was in the 1954 Commonwealth Games that were held in Cardiff. Thereafter, it became apparent that Kenya had a pool of talented athletics who have been able to produce some sterling performances.
